Description

You will act as a Business Analyst focused on the mortgage banking domain to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical systems.

Responsibilities

• Define business, financial, and operational requirements through partnership with decision makers and end users.
• Establish scope and parameters for systems analysis to define outcome criteria and measurement actions.
• Analyze business processes, capability gaps, data mappings, interfaces, and required process changes.
• Generate reports detailing findings, probable causes, and potential solutions for system issues.
• Assess risk during decision-making to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 6 years in IT.
• 3-6 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis.
• Direct experience in the Mortgage Banking domain.
• Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Working knowledge of ETL, data design, and data handling.
• Competency in Excel, specifically using formulas and pivot tables for data analysis.
• Understanding of data modeling and data analysis concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum processes.
