You will manage the requirements management process for the NG9-1-1 program, ensuring all technical specifications are elicited, analyzed, and verified.

Responsibilities

• Execute the requirements management process, including elicitation, analysis, and verification.
• Validate that test cases map correctly to requirements within the Requirements Verification and Traceability Matrix.
• Review test procedures for comprehensiveness and provide real-time feedback during vendor dry-runs and test phases.
• Partner with agencies to develop effective User Acceptance Test (UAT) scripts.
• Communicate project information accurately to clients, project teams, and executive leadership.

Required Skills

• At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience in requirements elicitation using interviews, workshops, surveys, brainstorming, and use cases.
• Proficiency in writing detailed requirement documents, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
• Experience with testing and validation to ensure deliverables meet specified criteria.
• Ability to analyze data using Excel or specialized data analysis tools.
• Proficiency with requirement management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience using modeling tools like Visio for diagramming.
• Proven track record of defining requirements for solutions involving multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of public safety environments, NYC government, or the operations of police, fire, EMS, and health and human services organizations.
