Description

Partner with front-office stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for trading systems and real-time applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and use cases for algorithmic trading platforms.
• Analyze business processes to identify operational and technological improvements.
• Conduct data analysis to support trading workflows, execution strategies, and decision-making.
• Facilitate communication between business users, technology teams, and global stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, testing, validation, and UAT activities.

Required Skills

• 5–9 years of experience as a Business Analyst within investment banking or financial services.
• Strong front-office experience supporting trading desks or trade execution platforms.
• Experience with in-house trade execution systems or electronic trading applications.
• Knowledge of Global Securities Financing and Equities markets.
• Familiarity with algorithmic trading and real-time trading environments.
• Experience with platforms such as Fidessa, Horizon, Dash Financials, Bloomberg EMSX, or ION.
• Strong knowledge of FIX messaging protocols.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
