Description

Analyze and document business requirements for collateral operations, margin management, and risk mitigation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define functional specifications with business, operations, risk, and IT teams for system changes or new implementations.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify process inefficiencies and recommend workflow improvements.
• Translate regulatory requirements (UMR, EMIR, Dodd-Frank) into actionable business and system needs.
• Define and execute User Acceptance Testing, preparing test cases and coordinating sign-offs.
• Generate and maintain business process documentation, workflow diagrams, and traceability matrices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Collateral Management, Derivatives Operations, or Securities Finance.
• Experience with platforms such as AcadiaSoft, Calypso, Murex, TriResolve, or TLM.
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, margining, settlements, and risk exposure.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks including UMR, EMIR, and Dodd-Frank.
• Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel functions.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Information Technology.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
