Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead outreach and coordination with third-party interface partners to support migration off the mainframe platform
• Develop and maintain a complete inventory of all interfaces, file transfers, and impacted stakeholders
• Coordinate with mainframe (JCL) teams, Axway/middleware specialists, and distributed platform engineers
• Align technical planning with partner requirements — file formats, triggers, and batch execution windows
• Manage the migration schedule, adapting to vendor responsiveness and resource constraints
• Oversee SFTP testing cycles, ensuring successful authentication, file delivery, and processing
• Analyze and create Interface Control Documents (ICDs) — connection details (DNS, ports, protocols), folder paths/naming conventions, trigger points, and success/failure indicators (ACKs, error codes)

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant IT experience specializing in middleware platforms (Axway or equivalent)
• Knowledge of mainframe batch job structures, JCL, job triggers, and scheduling concepts
• Experience with SFTP configuration, folder provisioning, secure key/credential management, and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of interface design, file format requirements, and data exchange dependencies
• Documentation tools knowledge — Visio, Azure, ALM Octane
• Ability to analyze and create Interface Control Details (ICD) documentation
• Strong documentation skills for complex flows — diagrams, error handling, SLAs, partner escalations, and interface inventories
• Excellent stakeholder communication — able to interact with external vendors, business partners, and senior-level stakeholders

Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
