Description

Analyze data structures to enforce Data Governance standards and ensure metadata alignment with policies.

You will own metadata profiling, using SQL to extract, validate, and troubleshoot data quality issues. You will document profiling activities, onboarding steps, and findings. Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Data Governance team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze metadata structures and ensure alignment with Data Governance policies.
• Use SQL to extract, validate, and troubleshoot data during metadata profiling.
• Document metadata profiling activities, onboarding steps, and data quality findings.
• Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Data Governance team.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, or related field.
• Strong SQL query writing and optimization skills.
• Knowledge of metadata concepts, structures, and governance practices.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and identify data quality issues.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Data Governance.
• Experience with ETL processes.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data lineage or data modeling.
• Knowledge of enterprise data governance frameworks.
