Description

Translate business needs into technical specifications to support the development of educational technology solutions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define, organize, and maintain functional and data requirements.
• Translate business and product requirements into technical specifications for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and senior developers to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
• Document business rules and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Incorporate UAT results into product requirements to drive test case design and project scope management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret business needs into application and operational requirements.
• Proficiency with Jira.
• Technical writing skills for documenting specifications and business rules.
• Understanding of systems engineering concepts and the ability to learn new application platforms quickly.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing requirements specifically for teachers and students.
• Experience contributing to solutions for interactive and user experience challenges.
