Analyze financial datasets to drive data normalization and define platform requirements.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex financial datasets to identify common components and define normalization strategies.
• Conduct gap analysis between data sources and existing models to determine necessary additions.
• Transform complex data into functional data marts for client and consumer use.
• Derive platform requirements by applying functional business and financial knowledge.
• Implement software or data services within a global team environment.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business analysis.
• Proficiency with SQL for back office data analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills for managing and analyzing financial datasets.
• Experience with financial data, including trade lifecycles, positions, transactions, and income.
• Knowledge of various asset classes, including derivatives.
• Background in financial custody or back office data operations.
• Proven ability to implement software or data services.
• Experience working in a global, team-oriented setting.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience with State Street Back Office systems (MCH, FDR, or OTC).
