Description

You will support a key engagement with the State of Virginia as a hybrid Business Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement gathering sessions.
• Manage user stories, backlogs, and test plans within Azure DevOps (TFS).
• Analyze and document business and system processes using swim lane, flow chart, and business process modelling techniques.
• Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases to support user adoption and UAT.
• Facilitate sprint planning and backlog grooming within Agile and Waterfall frameworks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst.
• 5+ years of experience with sprint planning, backlog grooming, and writing user stories.
• 5+ years of experience creating test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• 3+ years of experience analyzing and documenting business or system processes.
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL, APIs, and data flow diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (TFS).
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAFe, Kanban, or previous State of Virginia IT projects.
