You will drive project delivery through the entire lifecycle by bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution in Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities

• Consult with business and technical teams to develop system improvement requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories for development teams.
• Create diagrams and wireframes to help technical staff and executive management visualize system modifications.
• Optimize processes for the design, development, and maintenance of software systems.
• Track project metrics and ensure the team adheres to Agile principles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience within IT software and application projects.
• 5 years of experience with Agile, Scrum, Scaled Agile, and Kanban methodologies.
• 5 years of experience organizing and maintaining product and sprint backlogs.
• 5 years of experience translating product strategy into application requirements and user stories.
• 3 years of experience analyzing and documenting business and system processes.
• Technical experience in test planning, storyboard development, and test execution.
• Proficiency in wireframe preparation and requirements elicitation.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience as an IT Business Analyst for the State of Virginia.
