You will act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical teams to drive mortgage-focused software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements to create detailed technical specifications for web services and APIs.
- Design process and data flow diagrams to visualize complex requirements.
- Write clear user stories that align business-driven functionality with technical capabilities.
- Support the full testing lifecycle, including systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Develop UAT strategies, plans, test cases, and scripts while supporting the Product Owner and IT teams.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis.
- Extensive mortgage industry knowledge, specifically with Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in requirement gathering and technical specification design.
- Ability to write concise user stories and process specifications.
- Familiarity with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Analytical skills applied within the mortgage or insurance sectors.
- Proven ability to conduct feasibility analysis and define project objectives.
