Description

You will own the Check Operations model and serve as the subject matter expert for Check Services and processing functions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define the Check Operations model and support Build/Review requirement documentation for the retail bank.
• Identify testing plans, develop measurement tools for monitoring output results, and create operational procedures and process flows.
• Collaborate with vendors to deploy Check Services, including managing exception handling processes.
• Structure incident management for Check services by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with Finance to develop operational general and sub-ledgers, perform reconciliation functions, and create internal controls.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Check Services, including Mobile Check Deposit, Personal Checks, and Certified Checks.
• Proven ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert for check processing and associated functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive ongoing enhancements.
• Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams to deploy services.
• Ability to develop and maintain operational guidelines and process flows.
• Background in financial reconciliation and internal controls is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
