You will serve as the central authority for Security Master and Reference Data across the organization.
Responsibilities
Act as the SME and first point of contact for complex inquiries regarding Security Master and Reference Data, guiding trading desks, strategists, and risk modelers.
Define and govern the logical data model for the Security Master across equities, fixed income, loans, structured products, derivatives, and funding products.
Partner with Front Office Trading and Strat teams to translate data needs for quantitative models and pricing engines.
Chair data governance forums, establishing and enforcing global data standards, definitions, and quality rules.
Perform deep-dive data analysis using SQL to investigate data issues and prescribe remediation plans.
Required Skills
5+ years of working experience
Expertise in Security Master concepts
Proficiency in SQL for data analysis
Deep functional knowledge of financial instruments (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, etc.)
Experience defining Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and quality metrics
Stakeholder Engagement across Front, Middle, and Regulatory offices
Understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., BCBS 239, MiFID II)
