Description

You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation through detailed process analysis and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze projects to calculate material, labor, and overhead costs using established costing standards.
• Document business processes, application inputs/outputs, and technical workflows to design efficient information solutions.
• Develop and manage technical documentation for business and information systems according to departmental standards.
• Execute testing for complex applications, including the creation of test plans, databases, and test environments.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Data Analysts, and Technical Architects to maintain business applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or related roles.
• Experience with cost accounting or project-based costing standards.
• Proficiency in developing and analyzing cost standards.
• Experience working on accounting and financial computing applications and monitoring external system interfaces.
• Ability to define workflows and identify missing or duplicate functionality in existing applications.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Knowledge of Agile Project Management methodologies and the SCRUM framework.
• Ability to interpret and communicate technical programming and data processing information.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of legacy technology including mainframe and Cobol.
• Experience with data conversion, data cleansing, and validating data relationships.
• Knowledge of Universal Modeling Language (UML) and enterprise tools for documenting data lineage and traceability.
