You define and document technical API requirements and integration flows for software products.

Responsibilities

• Specify API requirements including endpoint structures, request/response formats, authentication, error handling, and rate limiting.
• Design API flows for custom integrations to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Use Postman to review, test, and troubleshoot API endpoints.
• Collaborate with software development teams to communicate technical requirements.
• Write comprehensive API documentation, technical specifications, and usage guidelines.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role focused on APIs or platform products.
• Deep understanding of API design principles and RESTful protocols.
• Experience with webhooks, authentication methods, and token-based authorization.
• Hands-on experience using Postman for API testing.
• Ability to document endpoint structures, payloads, and error responses.
• Proven experience designing custom integrations using RESTful protocols.
• Strong written communication skills for technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of RDBMS, microservices, and cloud infrastructure including containerization and cloud computing.
• Knowledge of API gateways, cloud storage, and Agile methodologies.
