Description

You will design custom API integrations and define product requirements to support seamless software integrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Specify and document API requirements, including endpoint structures, request/response formats, authentication, and error handling.
• Design API flows for custom integrations between software products to meet stakeholder needs.
• Use Postman to review, test, and troubleshoot API endpoints.
• Collaborate with software development teams to communicate technical requirements.
• Write comprehensive API documentation, technical specifications, and usage guidelines.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role focused on APIs or platform products.
• Strong understanding of RESTful protocols, API design principles, webhooks, and token-based authorization.
• Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to design and specify custom integrations using RESTful protocols.
• Experience writing product requirements, including payloads and error responses.
• Ability to write clear, organized, and technical API documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of RDBMS, microservices, cloud infrastructure, containerization, and API gateways.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
