Description

You will serve as a subject matter expert providing consulting services to internal business groups on process improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, define, and document business and data requirements.
• Evaluate regulatory implications of all on and off-balance sheet activities.
• Perform financial analysis and modeling for Asset Liability Management, Treasury Management, Credit Risk Management, or SCCL/Basel III Regulations.
• Consult with internal business units to drive process improvements designed to enhance business results.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis or modeling for ALM, Treasury, Credit Risk, or Basel III.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for data analysis within Oracle and Teradata databases.
• Working knowledge of banking, financial markets, and products.
• Understanding of U.S. Bank Capital regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with regulatory reporting including FRY 9c, FRY 14M/Q, FR2590, and Basel III.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or Oracle BI.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Masters in Finance, CFA, or Certified Treasury Professional.
• Knowledge of asset classes including Commercial/Retail loans, leases, Derivatives, Securitized Assets, and Equity.
