Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the Global Funding Investment Insurance Technology team in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for technology solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement solutions aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data to support decision-making.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprints and backlog grooming.
- Work across geographically diverse functions including front office, middle office, finance, operations, compliance, and risk.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis or requirements documentation.
- 5+ years of experience solving problems and designing solutions for client or stakeholder groups.
- Deep domain knowledge of Capital Markets, including Interest Rate Derivatives, Foreign Exchange Derivatives, Futures, Bonds, Securities, Money Market Instruments, and Loans.
- Expertise in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycles, financial instruments, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of balance sheets and income statements.
- Experience working within an Agile software development team.
- Technical familiarity with Python, Java, and Angular2 environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
Preferred Skills
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification.
- Experience using Python for data analysis or modeling.
