Description

Manage EHR/EMR software maintenance, configuration, and integration within a HIPAA-regulated environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vendor-managed software through regular testing, upgrades, and configuration updates.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify process improvements and system optimizations.
• Document business requirements for reporting and map processes using Visio flow diagrams.
• Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage regression tests, and design new test cases.
• Troubleshoot application-related issues and manage ticket lifecycles through vendor release cycles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or system integration.
• Deep knowledge of EHR/EMR systems and healthcare workflows (Scheduling, Registration, HIM, Provider, Pharmacy, Lab, Nursing).
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and CCL code writing.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience implementing and integrating analytics and reporting platforms in healthcare.
• Knowledge of Business Objects Reporting Solution and Discern Reporting Portal (Static and Interactive Reporting).
• Proven ability to manage reporting and dashboard maintenance within HIPAA and WI DOC regulations.
• Experience working in government or correctional environments.
• Competency in change management systems and identifying system integration points.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Jira for task and issue tracking.
