Description

You will design, configure, and support ITSM and service catalog solutions within the ServiceNow platform while providing mainframe application analysis.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design, build, and test automated service requests and workflows in the ServiceNow Service Catalog.
• Lead functional configuration of ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) ensuring compliance with authorized governance workflows.
• Provide expert-level support and maintenance for implemented modules to ensure system performance aligns with agency service delivery standards.
• Analyze, design, and support CICS/DB2/COBOL/JCL mainframe applications, including creating test data and modifying JCL files.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, process flows, and user guides.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in technical writing and documentation.
• Proven ability to gather requirements, design, code, test, and support web and client-server applications.
• Hands-on mainframe application experience with SQL, COBOL, CICS, JCL, and DB2.
• Experience using change management tools such as Changeman or CNTL-M.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent oral and written communication.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Electronic Document Management, BPM, and Workflow software (eDocs, Kofax Total Agility).
