You will serve as a subject matter expert in Life Insurance and Annuities, bridging business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver compliant, high-impact solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Act as domain expert for annuity products, policy administration, claims, underwriting, and regulatory compliance.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, process flows, and system interactions.
• Translate complex insurance concepts into clear user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Conduct gap analysis, root cause analysis, and impact assessments for business process changes.
• Facilitate workshops and support UAT, training, and post-implementation support.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Life Insurance and Annuity domain.
• Deep understanding of annuity products (fixed, variable, indexed) and policy lifecycle.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including NAIC, DOL, and fiduciary rules.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Visio, and MS Office Suite.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong skills in business process modeling, requirements gathering, and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications such as LOMA (FLMI, ARA) or Agile (CSPO, PMI-ACP).
