Consult on modernization projects by defining and validating business requirements for motor vehicle registries.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and conduct process walkthroughs to identify goals and pain points via gap analysis.
• Create, review, and update user stories, personas, and journey maps, outlining functional requirements through use cases and mock-ups.
• Document and validate detailed business and functional requirements with subject matter experts.
• Support change management and training to ensure delivery of complex program changes.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess opportunities for backlog refinement and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience providing business analysis or consulting services in motor vehicle registries modernization projects.
• Proven experience conducting gap analysis between legacy systems and modern solutions.
• Understanding of Motor Vehicles services in Alberta.
• Thorough understanding and experience applying an Agile or Hybrid approach.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex legislations, regulations, policies, and standards.
• Demonstrated experience with the Agile framework (SCRUM).
• Ability to function independently while engaging with stakeholders to deliver outcomes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with tools such as Jira.
