Lead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide Business Continuity Program, building the program from the ground up while establishing governance, policies, standards, and best practices.
Partner with business leaders, IT, Risk Management, and cross-functional teams to conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), develop continuity strategies, and validate plans through testing and continuous improvement.
Drive organizational resilience by identifying operational risks, strengthening disaster recovery capabilities, and improving continuity planning across critical business functions and third-party relationships.
Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple locations to ensure business continuity plans align with operational priorities and support a high-volume, transaction-driven environment.
Present program updates, recommendations, and continuity initiatives to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders while serving as the subject matter expert for business continuity planning.
Build strong relationships across the organization, proactively engaging business partners to drive adoption and long-term success of the program.
Must Have Requirements:
7+ years of Business Continuity experience with demonstrated success building or significantly maturing an enterprise Business Continuity Program.
Hands-on experience conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA), developing business continuity plans, facilitating continuity testing, and establishing program governance.
Experience supporting organizations that rely on ERP systems to drive daily business operations, with an understanding of how technology enables business continuity.
Proven ability to influence executive leadership and collaborate across IT, Risk Management, and business operations without direct authority.
Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel to regional office locations approximately three times per month.
Preferences:
Experience within distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, logistics, or other high-volume operational environments.
