Description

Senior Business Data Analyst for Medicaid application modernization and enhancement efforts in a SAFe Agile environment. You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams, leveraging 8+ years of experience to plan and execute complex initiatives independently.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs to formulate solutions aligned with overall business strategies.
• Act as the liaison between the Business community and Customer IT Teams (Architecture, Project Delivery, Application Sustain).
• Conduct business process reengineering and identify new technology applications to solve business problems.
• Prepare solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses including cost/benefit, ROI, and buy/build evaluations.
• Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and development steps for computer programs.

Required Skills

• 8 or more years of experience as a Data Analyst and Business Analyst.
• Proven experience serving as a liaison between Business and IT teams.
• Strong background in analyzing raw data and gathering requirements.
• Experience with business process mapping and reengineering.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, specifically SAFe.
• Ability to plan and accomplish goals independently with high creativity and latitude.

Preferred Skills

• PMP certification or project management experience.
• Experience with major system modernization projects.
