You will act as a senior analyst focused on metadata management, governance, and data lineage within a financial services environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements from domain pillars and business users.
• Collaborate with development teams to build, test, and verify technical solutions.
• Manage the lifecycle of enhancement requests and production issues from initiation to deployment.
• Perform quality control on SQL and Snowflake data to ensure standardization.
• Maintain stakeholder communication regarding project deliverables and report statuses.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or data roles.
• Proven experience working within a Sell Side bank or financial services industry.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL Server for data mining and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with metadata management tools, including Data Catalogs, Data Lineage, Dictionaries, and Glossaries.
• Experience with JIRA and working within Agile methodologies.
• Ability to provide application support and manage regulatory reporting requirements.
• Strong command of MS Office tools including Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Background in any graduate-level degree program.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Snowflake and Databricks.
