Description

Build and maintain data processes using Python and AWS to deliver incremental value to global project teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global project teams to deliver project requirements and internal/external client value.
• Develop and maintain data processes using Python and AWS services.
• Write complex queries and manage data within columnar database technologies like Redshift.
• Leverage CI/CD pipelines to build and test application code.
• Utilize version control systems to manage source code and maintain standards.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of applied experience in software engineering concepts.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Proficiency with AWS services including Postgres, Glue, and Lambda.
• Hands-on experience with Public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and Terraform.
• Experience with Linux and UNIX environments.
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M, AutoSys, or similar.
• Competency with source code versioning tools like Subversion or Bitbucket.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of C++ and UNIX Shell scripting.
