Description

You will manage data cataloging and business term definitions for a 6-month contract role working on EST hours.

Responsibilities

• Capture detailed business requirements, definitions, and relationships between data assets.
• Manage the data catalog system by importing descriptions and metadata from business customers.
• Inventory reports and dashboards to document their relationships within the catalog.
• Project manage the documentation effort for 50-60 reports and dashboards.
• Maintain and organize extensive data via Excel spreadsheets.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience specifically working with data catalog systems.
• Proven experience in requirement gathering for business terms and definitions.
• Proficiency in Excel, specifically using VLOOKUPs and Macros.
• Ability to navigate Informatica.
• Experience working directly with business customers to collect metrics.
• Non-technical background suited for data governance and cataloging rather than engineering.
• Availability to work 100% remote on EST hours.
