Description

Manage revenue, margin, and KPI goals within an assigned territory by growing existing accounts and identifying unmet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Expand business relationships within existing accounts to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
• Act as a project manager and intermediary between customers and the engineering/manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop prototypes, conduct customer demonstrations, and manage customization requirements.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, manage RFPs, and provide accurate reporting.
• Negotiate sales, business needs, and cost requirements to meet organizational goals.

Required Skills

• 5-7+ years of direct sales or account management experience in a food equipment manufacturing environment.
• Engineering background or strong technical ability to read blueprints and work with product design teams.
• Proven experience managing the prototype development lifecycle from demo to mass production.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other CRM tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel.
• Experience managing RFPs and systematic follow-up processes.
• Strong understanding of the sales process, including probing, presentation, and overcoming objections.
• Ability to manage complex projects and liaise between technical and client-facing stakeholders.
