Description

You own the Databricks Lakehouse as the primary data source for BI, analytics, and AI enablement. You administer Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Fabric while integrating conversational analytics into collaboration surfaces like Slack and Teams.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer Databricks clusters, jobs, SQL warehouses, and Unity Catalog to ensure cost, performance, and security.
• Design and govern semantic models, certified datasets, and metrics across Power BI, Tableau, and Fabric.
• Enable conversational and agentic analytics using Power BI Copilot, Tableau Pulse, and custom AI agents.
• Integrate LLMs, RAG, and agent workflows with analytics platforms to support natural-language data queries.
• Maintain connectivity and security across Databricks, SAP HANA, SQL Server, MySQL, and AWS Redshift.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years administering enterprise BI/analytics platforms, with hands-on Power BI and Tableau experience.
• Deep Databricks expertise: clusters, jobs, Unity Catalog, and Databricks SQL.
• Experience enabling AI/ML and agentic workflows, including model serving, RAG, and agent frameworks.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts: LLMs, RAG, vector search, and semantic modeling.
• Strong SQL, data warehousing, metadata management, and lakehouse architecture skills.
• Proficiency with Python (or R/Jupyter) for automation and scripting.
• Cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Ability to leverage AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for development and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of SAP HANA and querying experience with SQL Server, MySQL, and AWS Redshift.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating BI with Slack, Microsoft Teams, or custom portals via MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Azure OpenAI, Databricks AI/ML, or Alteryx experience.
