Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver business intelligence capabilities to support internal and external client needs.
• Develop data products based on various datasets.
• Analyze data and prepare results.
• Gather and document client requirements.
• Design and develop data products.
• Capture business and technical metadata for data products.
• Perform data analysis, data quality audits/reviews, statistical analysis, and data mining.
• Develop and share data models and products.
• Develop baseline and ongoing outcomes, key results, metrics, and other indicators.
• Apply analytical skills to provide insights, support decision-making, and facilitate strategic business planning.
• Integrate quantitative and qualitative data to create business insights.
• Design and create dashboards and custom reports using various data sources.
• Escalate issues and risks as appropriate.
• Work within a multi-vendor/staff environment.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field of study, or accepted equivalent.

Experience

• 5+ years direct hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing advanced Power BI solutions.
• 5+ years direct hands-on experience with a comprehensive set of data visualization techniques.
• 5+ years experience analyzing large and complex datasets.
• 5+ years experience presenting and storytelling with data.
• 5+ years experience understanding and developing requirements for analytical projects.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• 5+ years translating business requirements into analytical solutions.
• 5+ years combining raw data from multiple sources and domains.
• 5+ years dealing with clients and explaining complex data principles.
• 5+ years developing complex measures and calculated columns.
• 3+ years experience with SQL for data transformations and querying.
• 5+ years preparing visualizations, dashboards, and analytical models.
• 3+ years experience working with large government datasets
