Description

Build and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI solutions, integrating data from Oracle sources to deliver interactive dashboards and robust semantic models.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards with advanced visualizations, drill-downs, KPIs, and storytelling.
• Design and optimize semantic models, star/snowflake schemas, and datasets using advanced DAX and Power Query (M).
• Extract and prepare data from Oracle 12c/19c using SQL, PL/SQL, and stored procedures.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to move Oracle data into Power BI via Import, DirectQuery, or hybrid modes.
• Manage Power BI Service governance, including workspaces, deployment pipelines, gateways, and permissions.

Required Skills

• 5–8+ years in BI development with expert-level Power BI skills.
• Advanced DAX, including time intelligence, row-level security, dynamic measures, and calculation groups.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL experience with Oracle databases (12c/19c).
• Experience integrating Oracle data into Power BI and optimizing query performance.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and BI best practices.
• Proficiency in Power Query (M) for data cleaning and transformation.
• Experience with dataset refresh strategies, incremental refresh, and performance tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse, or Data Lake.
• Familiarity with Oracle BI Publisher, OBIEE, or legacy reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Python, Shell scripting, or automation frameworks.
