Description

Design and implement data models to support business intelligence efforts. You will own the full modeling lifecycle from concept to physical instantiation.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models with proper granularity and standard adherence.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs through communication with stakeholders and IT staff.
• Optimize models for warehouse storage efficiency and end-user query performance.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture for design approval and coordinate with DBAs for table instantiation.
• Monitor data warehousing systems to ensure accuracy and resolve data load or retrieval failures.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in data modeling.
• Expertise in data warehousing concepts, including facts, dimensions, and snowflaking.
• Proficiency in SQL and Oracle.
• Proven ability to perform complex analysis and testing of relational databases.
• Strong ability to translate technical modeling concepts for non-technical users.
• Experience managing real-world modeling scenarios and complex tasks independently.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Human Services business intelligence.
