Description

You will design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure that powers business intelligence. You own the accuracy, availability, and performance of SQL Server environments, ensuring data flows reliably to upstream application teams and downstream analysts.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support BI requirements.
• Design database structures, including tables, relationships, and constraints, applying normalization principles for optimal performance.
• Monitor server and database performance, tuning queries and indexes to resolve bottlenecks.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot SSIS packages and SQL Agent jobs.
• Manage database access through role-based provisioning and conduct periodic audits for compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a BI SQL Developer or Database Administrator.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL Server, including T-SQL, query plan analysis, and performance optimization.
• Experience with SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and ELT processes.
• Ability to manage both OLAP and OLTP database environments.
• Experience documenting database structures, functional specifications, and workflows.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with business stakeholders and technical partners.
• Adherence to Agile SCRUM methodologies.
