You will build and maintain data solutions supporting business needs.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test Epic-released and Foundation System content across Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, Radar, and Cogito SQL.
• Create and modify reports to display Epic data from Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle, writing SQL and configuring Radar settings for custom metrics.
• Maintain the Analytics Catalog and associated metadata records while distributing analytics content to consumers.
• Develop, test, and support Cube-Extracts, SlicerDicer custom filters, and third-party BI tool integrations.
• Assume responsibility for the quality and delivery of technology business solutions, including creating ad hoc queries and data sources.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of recent healthcare or IT experience.
• 3+ years of experience with BI reporting tools and the complete report development lifecycle for medium to large scale projects.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL, including writing complex, highly optimized queries across large data volumes, database design, and data warehouse design.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts, including writing stored procedures and query performance tuning.
• Certified in Cogito Fundamentals and Cogito Tools Administration.
• Strong experience working with end users to understand workflows and present data meaningfully.
• Knowledge of BI reporting best practices and user-focused data visualization skills.
• Ability to gain an in-depth understanding of the data model through data model classes.
• Familiarity with Epic applications and database structure.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working with an AR system for financial reporting.
• Prior experience working with an EMR system for clinical reporting.
