Description

You design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade BI solutions using Amazon QuickSight and AWS analytics services.

Develop interactive QuickSight dashboards, datasets, and visualizations optimized for large datasets and fast refresh times. Design and maintain semantic layers, curated datasets, and reusable reporting templates across teams. Enable self-service analytics by creating documentation, training materials, and reusable data models for business users. Optimize dashboard performance and cost by tuning SPICE usage, query performance, and refresh schedules. Implement row-level security, governance controls, and standardized naming conventions for all BI assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop interactive QuickSight dashboards and datasets optimized for performance.
• Design semantic layers and reusable reporting templates for cross-team use.
• Enable self-service analytics through documentation and reusable data models.
• Optimize dashboard performance, SPICE usage, and query efficiency.
• Implement row-level security and governance controls for BI assets.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or Data Visualization.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Amazon QuickSight, including RLS, themes, and calculated fields.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and data modeling best practices.
• Experience with AWS analytics services: Athena, Redshift, S3, and Glue Data Catalog.
• Proven ability to design interactive dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Experience enabling self-service analytics and guiding business users.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL frameworks.
• Knowledge of AWS cost optimization strategies and large-scale enterprise reporting.
