Description

Lead end-to-end delivery of analytics and BI solutions using Azure, Databricks, and Power BI, aligning technical execution with business priorities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee scalable data pipelines leveraging Azure services (ADF, Synapse, ADLS) and Databricks, including Genie/AI capabilities.
• Lead development of Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and data visualizations to enable data-driven decision-making.
• Drive implementation of AI/GenAI use cases using tools like Claude for advanced analytics, insights generation, and automation.
• Manage a team of data engineers, database developers, and analysts, ensuring quality delivery, mentoring, and upskilling.
• Ensure adoption of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control for data and analytics solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total IT experience with 5+ years in ETL/Data Pipeline development.
• Deep expertise in Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and ADLS.
• Strong proficiency in Databricks, including Genie and AI capabilities.
• Advanced Power BI skills, including semantic models, DAX, and data storytelling.
• Expert-level SQL and data modeling for high-performance solutions.
• Experience driving AI/GenAI integration and automation.
• Proven track record in team leadership and technical review.
• Implementation of CI/CD and DevOps practices in data platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with emerging technologies like Databricks Genie for productivity enhancement.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear BRDs and technical solutions.
