Description

This is a 12-month contract role based in McLean, VA, requiring a hybrid schedule on-site Tuesday through Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate legal and transactional documents related to financing.
• Analyze complex transactions involving asset-based lending and mortgage servicing.
• Manage documentation for securitization and commercial or multifamily real estate deals.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and SharePoint to support business operations and process improvement.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of experience in transactional work, specifically within lending or asset-based environments.
• Licensed Attorney with a background in financing transactions.
• Direct experience with mortgage servicing or securitization.
• Deep understanding of asset-based lending, specifically where collateral involves servicing contract rights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
• Experience using SharePoint for document management.
• Strong document drafting and negotiation skills.
• Advanced analytical and business analysis capabilities.
• Proven ability in business process improvement.
