Description

You will document business processes to support the department's transition from FLAIR to the Florida PALM cloud-hosted financial management solution.

Responsibilities

• Document current business processes through face-to-face, phone, email, or video conferencing communications.
• Inventory, catalog, and comprehensively document all existing roles and procedures within Accounting, Budget, Disbursements, Finance, Revenue, and Reporting functions.
• Draft precise and exhaustive desk procedures and overall business processes for the Contract Manager.
• Maintain diligent notes and detailed documentation throughout the transition period.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proven experience drafting precise and exhaustive procedural documentation.
• Experience with state finance or accounting functions.
• Hands-on experience using FLAIR and/or Florida PALM.
• Strong proficiency in finance operations.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• High attention to detail in note-taking and process mapping.
