Description

Lead technical analysis of business processes, applications, and infrastructure to identify pain points and recommend architectural improvements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze systems across business processes, use cases, applications, databases, and infrastructure to document current and future state roadmaps.
• Lead in-depth technical discussions with clients regarding architecture diagrams, documentation, code, and data.
• Oversee all project execution phases from initiation and planning through to production, monitoring, and post-release activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, stability, capacity, and resiliency while assessing associated costs and risks.
• Develop technical artifacts including architecture diagrams, process flows, and detailed design documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in architecture and software engineering.
• Proficiency in one or more modern languages: Java, C++/C#, Python, or VB.
• Experience with architecture frameworks and view-based architecture (4+1 view models).
• Strong database architecture knowledge including relational models, replication strategies, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Postgres, or MySQL.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with N-Tiered architectures, including middleware, ESBs, Web Services, and messaging constructs.
• Understanding of physical, virtual, and cloud deployment strategies (SaaS, PaaS).
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts, CI/CD, and automated deployment/validation.
