Description

You configure and customize Verisk Rulebook for underwriting rules, eligibility criteria, and rating logic.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate underwriting guidelines into Verisk Rulebook configurations and maintain rule sets for product updates and regulatory changes.
• Gather and document business and system requirements, developing functional specifications and workflows.
• Perform gap analysis and support implementation of underwriting improvements.
• Identify automation opportunities using rule engines to optimize processes.
• Support LIAT, validate rule changes, and assist in deployment and post-implementation validation.

Required Skills

• 3-8 years of Business Systems Analysis experience in P&C Insurance.
• Hands-on experience with Verisk Rulebook configuration.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with underwriting, product, and IT teams.

Preferred Skills

• Integration experience with Guidewire or Duck Creek.
• Knowledge of APIs, data integration, SQL, and data analysis.
• Awareness of AI and automation trends.
