Bridge the gap between business needs and technical data engineering solutions by translating requirements into functional specifications and supporting data workflow implementation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer problem statements into functional specifications, user stories, and technical requirements.
• Create business requirement documents, functional requirement documents, and mapping documents for ETL application development.
• Collaborate with data modelers to define necessary table designs and data workflows.
• Perform data profiling and analysis to ensure data solutions align with business objectives.
• Support testing, production readiness verification, and post-deployment accuracy checks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in business analysis and translating business needs for technical teams.
• Strong SQL knowledge for data analysis and querying.
• Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
• Expertise in data mapping and functional requirements documentation.
• Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and business process modeling.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
• Strong data profiling and data analysis capabilities.
• Effective verbal communication, writing, and active listening skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Azure and Azure Data Factory.
