Business System Analyst Healthcare

You will analyze and translate healthcare needs into functional system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret clinical, financial, and operational healthcare data.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for system enhancements and new builds.
• Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools.
• Monitor and evaluate existing workflows, recommending process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations including HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS guidelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in healthcare.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, payer-provider systems, and terminology.
• Experience working with EHRs, claims data, or RCM tools.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards such as HL7, ICD-10, and CPT.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• CPHIMS certification.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
