Description

Configure and customize Verisk Rulebook for underwriting rules, eligibility criteria, and rating logic while translating guidelines into rule configurations. Own the end-to-end business systems analysis process from requirement gathering to deployment support.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure Verisk Rulebook for underwriting rules, eligibility, and rating logic.
• Gather business and system requirements, developing functional specifications and workflows.
• Perform gap analysis and support implementation of rule sets for product and regulatory updates.
• Support LIAT, validate rule changes, and assist in deployment and post-implementation validation.
• Identify automation opportunities using rule engines to improve underwriting workflows.

Required Skills

• 3-8 years of Business Systems Analysis experience in P&C Insurance.
• Hands-on experience with Verisk Rulebook configuration and customization.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis for validating rule outcomes.
• Ability to facilitate requirements workshops with underwriting, product, and IT teams.
• Experience with process optimization and identifying automation opportunities.

Preferred Skills

• Integration experience with Guidewire or Duck Creek platforms.
• Knowledge of APIs and data integration patterns.
• Awareness of AI and automation trends in insurance technology.
