Description

You will own the requirements lifecycle for complex IT projects, translating business needs into precise functional specifications and technical designs.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements using workshops, interviews, and use cases to uncover process improvements.
  • Create data mapping, visualization, and process model documents to guide development and ensure data integrity.
  • Perform gap analysis between current applications and customer requirements, collaborating with architects to estimate project impact.
  • Develop functional specifications including workflows, business rules, and interface designs for development teams and stakeholders.
  • Triage incidents, analyze business impact, and assist in redesigning business processes for enhancements.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements elicitation, and functional specification writing.
  • Strong technical background with ability to collaborate closely with IT development staff on complex projects.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and presentation, including creating detailed reports and systematic requirements specifications.
  • Experience with API testing and web services, specifically using SoapUI, REST, and SOAP.
  • Skills in data visualization and reporting using Tableau.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, handling multiple tasks and meeting concurrent deadlines.
  • Excellent documentation, oral, and written communication skills with strong analytical and conceptual thinking.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience providing leadership, training, or coaching to junior staff.
  • Familiarity with CCBA certification or methodology development.
