Description

Lead business systems analysis for banking, cards, and payments platforms, supporting end-to-end payment processing lifecycles for domestic and international transactions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Drive requirements gathering, solution design, and backlog management for payment systems including SWIFT, ISO 20022, ACH, Fedwire, and merchant settlement.
• Partner with finance, compliance, and risk stakeholders to deliver regulatory reporting, expense optimization, and fraud prevention solutions.
• Perform data analysis and reporting using SQL, SAS, VBA, Snowflake, and Essbase to support financial forecasting and reconciliation.
• Support Agile delivery by facilitating sprint planning, backlog refinement, and UAT coordination using Jira and Confluence.
• Analyze transaction patterns to define fraud detection rules and improve payment success metrics.

Required Skills

• Strong payments domain expertise with hands-on experience in SWIFT (MT/MX), ISO 20022, ACH, Fedwire, and merchant settlement.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in business systems analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel/VBA, Essbase, and reporting tools.
• Experience with data analytics platforms such as Snowflake and SAS.
• Ability to manage backlogs and support sprint execution in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across finance, risk, compliance, and technology teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in fraud risk management and transaction pattern analysis.
• Background in financial forecasting and reconciliation processes.
