Description

You will act as the primary analyst bridging business needs with technical execution for tax and order management systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and development teams to document and analyze tax and OMS business processes.
• Define and validate integration specifications between Manhattan OMS, Vertex O Series, and SFCC.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
• Support system testing (SIT/UAT), debug defects, and triage production issues post go-live.
• Ensure data integrity across OMS, SFCC, Vertex, and downstream systems like ERP (e.g., SAP).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, preferably in Retail or eCommerce implementations.
• Practical experience integrating with Order Management Systems, specifically Manhattan OMS.
• Knowledge of Vertex O Series (Cloud/SaaS) or similar tax engines (e.g., Avalara).
• Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and integration mapping.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, functional documentation, and process flow design.
• Familiarity with JSON, XML, and integration testing tools like Postman and SoapUI.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology, using Jira/Confluence.
• Understanding of retail order lifecycle, taxation logic, and payment flows.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills for cross-functional team work.
