Description

You will bridge the gap between actuarial business units and IT delivery teams to drive requirement elicitation and system modernization.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for Agile scrum teams and project initiatives.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories within JIRA.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to coordinate user acceptance testing and ensure quality standards.
• Identify and remediate bugs, providing incident and defect management support for BAU and project deliveries.
• Analyze and code in SAS, SQL, R, or Python to support actuarial data center requirements and process retirement.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst specifically within an Actuarial environment.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.
• Hands-on experience with SAS, Python, or R for data analysis and coding.
• Experience working within an Agile framework and using JIRA for user story refinement.
• Ability to produce high-quality, unambiguous business and functional requirement documentation.
• Proven track record of managing requirements within scope, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Experience supporting production processes and incident management.
• Knowledge of AWS for system modernization efforts.

• Any Graduate degree.
