Description

• We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT development teams.
• This individual will help define business and system requirements, refine user stories, support Agile delivery teams, conduct testing, and assist with the implementation and maintenance of business applications.
• This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with business users, troubleshooting system issues, driving process improvements, and supporting Agile development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories and requirements for Agile development teams.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum teams, and stakeholders to refine and prioritize work.
• Support development, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of business systems.
• Create and execute test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing.
• Analyze system issues, troubleshoot problems, and recommend solutions.
• Document business processes, workflows, procedures, and system functionality.
• Assist with system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support end users with reporting, data queries, and system-related inquiries.
• Help develop training materials and deliver user training when needed.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors as necessary.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related experience.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum environments.
• Experience writing and refining user stories.
• Ability to conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and support production applications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience leading small projects or technology initiatives.
• Experience with:
  • SQL and database query tools
  • Testing and test automation tools
  • Workflow/process diagramming tools
  • Reporting and analytics platforms
• Experience supporting SOX or other compliance-related initiatives.
