Bridge the gap between IT and accounting teams to manage and optimize financial systems in Montgomery, AL.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, evaluate, and resolve system and process challenges related to accounting functions.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Use online ticketing and problem tracking systems to manage and resolve technical issues.
• Analyze, manipulate, and generate reports from databases to support financial decision-making.
• Review server and system logs to troubleshoot application behavior.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a business systems analyst or in a similar role focusing on accounting or financial systems.
• Proficiency in SQL, preferably SQL Server, for database analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of accounting principles including budgeting, account coding, AR/AP, purchasing, and vendor management.
• Experience with accounting and procurement web applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using online ticketing and problem tracking systems.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems, CGI Advantage Financial, or Ivalua eProcurement.
• Experience with system upgrade or migration projects.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow, XML interface file layouts, and basic web code behavior (JAVA, HTML, XML).
