Description

You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation to build scalable applications for new business launches.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Transform business needs into technical specifications, including pseudo code, database table designs, and business process diagrams.
• Collaborate with quantitative modeling teams and portfolio managers to define and document system requirements.
• Execute project testing by developing detailed test plans, test cases, and documenting results.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for production and test issues to recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct deep analytical dives on data to synthesize findings and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in the financial industry.
• 5+ years of Asset and Liability Management (ALM) experience with deep knowledge of performance, risk, and attribution.
• Mandatory experience with BlackRock Aladdin.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries and performing complex data manipulation.
• In-depth understanding of Fixed Income instruments, analytics, and Derivatives processes.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Bloomberg data or the reinsurance industry.
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Hands-on experience with investment, trading, or performance attribution systems.
